Care Summary

The Vermiculated Angelfish is one of the most graphically striking mid-size angels in the trade, with that bold half-white, half-black body and bright yellow head. Care is more manageable than many angels of similar price and requires a tank that has been running for at least a year with good live rock coverage. The main reef concern is soft coral and clam mantle nipping, which varies by individual, so watch closely in the first few weeks in a reef context. Get one established in its own tank with plenty of caves before adding more aggressive tankmates.
