Gemmifera Acropora builds dense, stubby branching colonies with a distinctive bumpy surface texture that reads almost cushion-like — it's one of the more visually unique branching Acros and holds color well in a stable tank. High position, high light, and high flow are the baseline — this species does best with laminar surge-style flow rather than strictly chaotic turbulence. Gemmifera is sensitive to nutrient spikes; keep nitrate under 10 and phosphate low or you'll see tissue recession start at the base and work upward. Target feed with small zooplankton-sized foods monthly and focus your energy on chemistry consistency — this coral rewards stability more than any single feeding intervention.
