Mount it at the top of the rockwork where it gets maximum PAR and unrestricted high-flow; it needs both to develop its characteristic fused branch tips cleanly. The trap is treating it like a standard Acropora and ignoring water motion — stagnant pockets around the fusion points invite STN that starts slow and picks up speed fast. Skip targeted spot feeding; keep your nutrients dialed in with consistent water changes and let the colony feed passively through high flow.
