Dragon Tamer Torch is a named collector morph of Euphyllia — the dramatic tentacle coloration and flowing movement it brings to a mid-tank position is unmatched by any other LPS in this price range. Mid-tank placement with medium indirect light and gentle medium flow; torch corals need flow for feeding and oxygenation but direct blasting will stress the tissue and cause retraction. Torches are one of the most aggressive corals you can keep — those sweeper tentacles have serious reach and will sting anything they contact, including other Euphyllia except Euphyllia-to-Euphyllia with compatible varieties; give it a wide berth and plan your layout accordingly. Target feed meaty foods like mysis or krill directly to extended tentacles twice a week; a well-fed torch will grow a new head every few months, and that's how a single frag becomes a multi-head display piece.
