Devil's Hand Coral

Lobophytum crassum earns the "Devil's Hand" name with its thick, finger-like lobes — it's a visually striking leather that develops real character as it grows. Mid-tank placement under moderate light with medium flow gives it room to spread and keeps the polyps from staying retracted. The main frustration is chemical allelopathy — it's one of the heavier terpene producers in the Lobophytum genus, and neighboring LPS can show stress if you're not running carbon. No target feeding; just keep activated carbon in the sump and do consistent water changes to offset the compounds it releases.
