Branching Frogspawn

Euphyllia paradivisa is the branching form of frogspawn — each branch terminates in a cluster of grape-like tentacle tips that give it a fuller, more dramatic look than the wall form. Mid-tank placement under moderate light with medium flow; the tentacles need enough water movement to wave gently but not so much that they're constantly compressed. The aggression is real — its sweeper tentacles extend several inches at night and will sting anything within reach, so map your placement with its nighttime footprint in mind. Feed it weekly with meaty foods like mysis or enriched brine; branching Euphyllia respond strongly to regular feeding with faster branch development and better extension during the day.
